Slalom Consulting Wins Microsoft 2010 Partner Awards as Information Worker Solutions, Collaboration Partner of the Year

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Slalom Consulting proudly announced it is a Microsoft Partner Awards winner as Information Worker Solutions, Collaboration Partner of the Year. The company was chosen out of an international field of top Microsoft partners as delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology.

“Their solution for a highly visible, international sporting event delivers more real-time content to more people by expanding search capabilities, integrating social media tools such as Twitter feeds, and enabling easier access to key content and assets to users.”

“Slalom worked with the United States Olympic Committee and Microsoft to develop a new web site to provide the media with one source for relevant, aggregated content on the 2010 Winter Olympics and the athletes participating in the Games,” said Jerry Kaczmarowski, general manager for Slalom Consulting. “Surveys showed that 92 percent of reporters found the new site helpful, which is indicative of Slalom’s thoughtful approach to its Information Worker Solutions. We are proud of that feedback from the site’s primary audience, and to be recognized by Microsoft for the project.”

Awards will be presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of almost 3,000 entrants worldwide. Slalom Consulting was recognized for superior technology and innovation in Information Worker Solutions, Collaboration Partner of the Year. The Collaboration Partner of the Year Award honors partners who have excelled in offering breakthrough Microsoft Office and SharePoint solutions. This award recognizes Slalom Consulting for increasing their customers’ workforce productivity, and enabling teams to work more effectively across boundaries with partners and customers through their technology and marketing offerings.

The Information Worker Partner of the Year award is one of three Microsoft partner awards won by Slalom Consulting. The company also won the Country Partner of the Year and Business Intelligence Partner of the Year awards. These partner awards add to three regional Microsoft awards won by the Slalom Consulting over the last three months, including:

  • Midwest Area Compete to Win Partner Award (Second Half Fiscal 2010)
  • Western Region Marketing Excellence Award (Second Half Fiscal 2010)
  • Western Region GM Award (Second Half Fiscal Year)

The Microsoft Partner Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the last year.
