The Challenge

Varolli provides on-demand communication software and services to more than 380 companies, with almost 300 employees and over $50 million in revenue. To meet the demands of a growing workforce and the need to simplify access, storage, administration and even maintenance, the company required a new solution for its email system. In addition, Varolli also wanted to improve collaboration using new technologies, such as instant messaging and Web conferencing, which they saw as one of Slalom's areas of strength.

Our Approach

With its long track record of success migrating companies to the Cloud, Slalom proposed a Web-based solution based on Microsoft Exchange. After assessing technical and organizational requirements, Slalom:

  • Created a proof of concept
  • Provided project management for the duration of the project
  • Employed Slalom’s online migration methodology to ensure success
  • Developed training and user support
