AutoTrader.com is the Internet's leading auto classifieds marketplace and consumer information website, attracting more than 15 million unique monthly visitors. The company's Customer Operations group and Finance organization engaged Slalom Consulting to improve performance and identify and implement solutions for its payment processing and fraud prevention area, a key ingredient for continued growth and success. Our Approach

Slalom conducted a comprehensive assessment of AutoTrader.com's payment processing, fraud prevention, and management practices, as well as its organization and enabling technologies. This identified pain points and opportunities for process and technology improvements. In addition, the team outlined solutions that met AutoTrader.com's stringent IT requirements and developed a business case to capture benefits in excess of $1 million over five years.
