A diversified global leader in real estate services, with
roughly 18,000 employees worldwide, our client had been forced by
cumbersome real estate data to look into new ways of working with
information. In addition, the company wanted to make the data more
manageable and useful to its business. Together, we decided that
revamping current Microsoft products and building a custom code
solution would offer our client's associates increased flexibility
and integration.
Slalom Consulting created a DataSync tool that integrates
with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, giving users the ability
to enter detailed information into spreadsheets and leverage word
processing capabilities to create easy-to-read reports. The goal
was to simplify the analysis and reporting phase, while giving
associates the ability to turn details into reportable formats in a
timely manner.
By implementing the tool, our client has been able to
realize:
