What attracted you to Slalom?

The culture. I love the incredibly smart people here and their ability to make impactful change. I also love the fact that we have fun and that this really is a fun place to work. Slalom exudes a "best place to work" feeling.

Experience

I graduated from college with a teaching degree and taught third grade for one year before deciding I wanted to work in the corporate world. I was a trainer for several years in the wireless industry (in the early years when wireless was growing) and then eventually went into HR. I love working with and helping people.

Education

I have a BA in Education from Central Washington University 

Charities

I am a volunteer on the board that raises money for uncompensated care at Children’s Hospital, and participate in its yearly Star Guild benefit. We also have a “family charity” where about 20 extended family members raise money and buy bikes for kids. In 2011, we bought 100 new bikes and donated them to Toys for Tots.  

Hobbies 

Camping, golfing, cooking, spending time with family, wine tasting, bike riding, reading, traveling
