AMT302 - Easy Rider: How ML, Serverless, and IoT Drive Mobility as a Service

Avis Budget Group (ABG) and Slalom walk through their serverless mobility platform using the AWS connected vehicle reference architecture, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics, and AWS Lambda. We dive deep into the overall solution and services mentioned above, as well as the operations dashboard ABG created with Uber's open source framework,

PUT301-i - Improving Safety Outcomes: Enhanced data analysis using Natural Language Processing

We’ll discuss how PG&E utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP) to analyze over 60,000 Corrective Action Program (CAP) tickets and reduce the time for analysis from weeks to days. We’ll dive deep to show how PG&E used Amazon Web Services to rapidly develop a natural language search and analysis application to meet such requirements.

Identifying fake medications with machine learning

Falsified medications are a dangerous global problem. Veripad’s founders created a mobile app that “reads” inexpensive chemical test cards, enabling anyone to quickly verify common medicines. We helped them improve the technology with machine learning and Amazon SageMaker.

Healthcare, moving forward.

CHG Healthcare needed cost-effective, scalable software to connect and support clinicians deployed around the world, serving 25 million patients per year. After only 11 weeks, the CHG product team was off and running, repeating the agile software delivery process on their own. Instead of taking six weeks to release a feature, all they needed was three weeks to design, develop, test, and release it to production.
