Our talent acquisition team is diverse and well rounded. Backgrounds vary from agency, corporate recruiting, consulting, and sales. Some have a recruiting background in technology while others have specialized in recruiting for business consulting. Together, our blended team creates different viewpoints and allows us to challenge one another and become stronger business partners. Our talent acquisition team is successful because they are passionate about the business and culture of Slalom and they want to share our amazing environment with others.

What it's like – Building Boston

As told by Mike Bruyette, Talent Acquisition Senior Manager at Slalom Boston.

I joined Slalom in May of 2012 as employee #2. Back then we really had a start-up look and feel - we were huddled up in leased office space, hosted hundreds of meetings in a hotel lobby coffee shop, and sponsored/attended countless networking events. We were all committed to doing anything we could to get our name out in the Boston marketplace. There were many long days and nights, but it was incredibly satisfying as it was a true team effort; all hands were on deck.

Fast forward to present day and a lot has changed. Our team is over 100 people, we are working with some of Boston’s most notable clients, and we’ve created a dynamic and empowered culture that is second to none. However, despite our growth we’ve still been able to maintain that same passion and energy we had in the early days.

Everyone here is given the opportunity to make an impact in many ways. Whether it’s an initiative focused on our clients, practices, culture, or community – if you have a passion and desire, you’ll get the support you need. Many of our best ideas have been built and driven by our consultants and that’s what makes Slalom so special. Overall, I’m very proud and excited of what our team has been able to accomplish, however we are just getting started. I can’t wait to see what our story will tell in the next two years (and beyond)!
