Salesforce recognizes Slalom with multiple Partner Innovation Awards

Slalom’s work with Amazon Air and OnSide awarded in Salesforce’s Experience and Platform Categories

 

Seattle, WA – November 23, 2021 – Slalom, the global consulting firm focused on strategy, technology, and business transformation, today announced that it has been recognized for two Salesforce awards for its work with Amazon Air and OnSide as it helped to transform their businesses. Together with Amazon Air, Slalom is helping create the future of delivery by enhancing air transportation and helping to deliver packages further and faster. Collaborating with OnSide, Slalom is using streamlined technology to improve support and access to opportunities for England’s disadvantaged youth.

For this innovative work, Slalom has been named a recipient of the Salesforce Partner Innovation Award in both the Experience and Platform categories.

Amazon Air’s customers, with 1,672 internal and external vendor partners aboard, are benefiting from the synergies realized through Slalom’s Salesforce implementation. The team has enabled Amazon to reduce the risk of package delays by standardizing processes, increasing visibility, and automating reporting. Amazon Air, with more than 1,200 Amazon employees and 11 external vendors onboarded, is delighting customers with faster delivery and wider selection, while reducing risk of package delays and increasing network visibility and reporting. These improvements were realized in partnership with Slalom. This system has increased speed-to-market for new features, and reduced the time to onboard new groups, such as carrier management and newly launched regions like Canada by 50-70%, compared to individual teams creating new instances. Additionally, the status reconciliation process has seen a decrease of 66% in data collection and validation, enabling monthly metrics and detailed history analysis to support future continuous improvements.

As for OnSide, Slalom’s technology upgrades accomplished exactly what the UK-based youth program was looking for—improved care and support for its members through enhanced visibility and streamlined systems. With the new poverty and deprivation address integration, the member database is more useful for both frontline employees and strategic leadership. Digitized safeguard reporting makes flagging concerning circumstances faster, more efficient, and more reliable. OnSide has seen 100% adoption across 14 locations with 90% of all concerns now submitted through the online form and 33% of evaluations completed on the new mobile app. Fundraising has seen a 46% increase in donations recorded through Salesforce with an 80% increase in the number of OnSide Youth Zones using Salesforce to manage donations.
