“Life is short, so enjoy it to the fullest.” OR “Fail to plan… Plan to fail.” Yes - it’s overused and sounds very harsh, but this simple-yet-effective phrase has made me a stronger person in all areas of life.
  • What is your role at Slalom?
As a Talent Acquisition Manager, my responsibility is really to evangelize Slalom’s unique success story and ensure that our Houston office is built with the same quality of talent we’ve established in our existing markets.
  • Experience
I come to the table with 7 years of Business-Development, Recruitment, and Analysis experience.
  • What was your first job?
I held a number of odd jobs as a young kid to make extra money – from washing company trucks, to lawn-care.
  • First Car?
1991 Pontiac Sunbird. I bought it for 2 grand…the AC went out that summer and I had to lease a small corolla to escape the Houston heat!
  • What attracted you to Slalom?
Like many of our employees, I was not actively looking for a job and loved the group I was previously working with. It was the Culture, the level of expertise, the sustained growth-rate, and the opportunity to help build what will surely be one of Slalom’s biggest and most important markets from the ground up that made it impossible for me to look the other way. I started as a skeptic…but was intently pursuing the opportunity by the end of our lengthy interview process!
  • People would be surprised to hear that I worked as…
    A private-lesson instructor for Drumset.
  • Charities, causes, or institutions I currently support…
Kids’ Meals, MS 150, various outreach programs locally hosted by Ecclesia Houston.
