Giving our community a voice

Unidos exists to provide a close-knit internal community for Slalom's Hispanic/Latinx team members and their allies, giving a voice to our members while also empowering them to grow and build cultural awareness within and outside of Slalom. We are passionate about creating space for the future generation of Hispanic/Latinx leaders.

Our vision is an inclusive workplace that represents our local communities, where employees from all backgrounds can love their work, celebrate their culture, serve others, and grow personally and professionally.

In my life I have been blessed with opportunities that many members of my family never had. Through Unidos, I want to extend similar opportunities to others in the Hispanic/Latinx community, a group that is so often underrepresented in technology and corporate America.

Hispanic Heritage Month

Unidos' hallmark event is Hispanic Heritage Month, which takes place from September 15th to October 15th each year. Given its overlap with the independence days of many Latin American countries, Hispanic Heritage Month presents a unique opportunity to share the diverse culture, history, and contributions of Hispanics in the United States and beyond. It also allows us to highlight the voices and experiences of our Hispanic/Latinx employees at Slalom and focus on topics that are important to our community.

Unidos pillars

I feel a natural connection to the Hispanic/Latinx community at Slalom because growing up in the Cuban culture made me who I am today. Being a part of this community at Slalom feels like coming home.
