Slalom is named the first AWS National System Integrator Partner of the Year in the US

Global consulting firm becomes first recipient of new US award for AWS Partners

Seattle, WA – November 29, 2021 – Slalom, a global consulting firm focused on strategy, technology, and business transformation, today announced that it has been recognized by Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) with the AWS National System Integrator (NSI) Partner of the Year – US award, a new distinction reserved for NSIs in the AWS Partner Network (APN). Slalom was presented the award on Monday afternoon by Doug Yeum, Global Head of Channel Program on the first day of the annual AWS re:Invent conference in Las Vegas.

Slalom, an inaugural member of the APN since 2010, when it was in its infancy, and a Premier Tier Partner, is one of the most experienced AWS Consulting Partners amongst a dynamic community of over 100,000 partners from more than 150 countries. NSI partners provide a full spectrum of services—consulting migration, modernization, digital product development—and deep knowledge of AWS native services, and they play a crucial role in helping enterprises across North America accelerate their journey to the cloud.

“Slalom became one of the very first AWS Partners in the beginning days of cloud over ten years ago, and together we have helped more than 500 organizations dream bigger, move faster, and create lasting impact,” said Brad Jackson, Chief Executive Officer at Slalom. “Today, Slalom is a $2.8 billion company with more than 11,000 team members, and this would not have happened without the remarkable relationship with AWS. We are grateful and humbled to be named as the AWS NSI Partner of the Year in the United States and I believe it is still ‘Day One’ in our shared passion to build better tomorrows for all.”

“AWS Partners are critical to our customers’ success, and we are pleased to recognize Slalom as a 2021 AWS Partner of the Year US winner,” said Rachel Mushahwar, Head of Channel and Partner Sales – Americas at AWS. “I continue to be impressed by the commitment and innovation that AWS Partners offer our customers and how they are uniquely positioned to help accelerate our customers’ digital transformation journey. I look forward to working together and a great 2022.”

This award recognizes AWS Partners’ exceptional performance and commitment to AWS customers. Slalom has built deep relationships with customers in 41 markets around the world, such as AWS customers Securian Financial and LG CNS. Slalom has also deepened its relationship with AWS throughout the years, reaching gender parity in AWS certifications in 2020 after launching a joint training initiative with AWS in 2018. Then in 2019, Slalom and AWS announced AWS | Slalom Launch Centers, a joint delivery model in which Launch Center teams staffed by AWS and Slalom work alongside customers to rapidly advance the goals of their digital transformations.

“Since before the start of the AWS Partner Network, Slalom’s people have strived to continuously improve how we collaborate with AWS, our mutual customers, and each other to make the seemingly impossible a reality,” said Dave Cutler, general manager of Slalom’s global AWS team. “My sincerest appreciation goes out to AWS for this honor and every Slalom team member for their dedication to helping our customers achieve their goals with AWS.”
